A warning message or one failed startup is rarely enough to name the problem. Batteries, USB-C charging ports, displays, storage, macOS, and the logic board can produce similar symptoms. The job of diagnosis is to separate what looks wrong from what is actually wrong.

A useful diagnosis does more than confirm that the Mac has a problem. It should answer three practical questions: What failed? Is the repair worthwhile? Is the data at risk?
